Three Men's Morris

 

The Various versions of Morris, which includes Tic-Tac-Toe, are ver old games that have been dated as far back as 1400 B.C.. These games have been found in areas that include South East Asia to England and have been confirmed to have been played during the Viking Age.


This game is found in two different versions.

 

Version 1.

This version has a board that contains nine points. Each player begins with four pieces that they place on a point on the board alternately. If a player can make a straight line of three they win.

 

Version 2.

The board for this version is more complex. Each player begins the game with three pieces and place them alternately on any vacant point on the board. The game continues with alternate moves until one player is successful in making a straight line

 

Dice may be used to determine the player with the first move.
